A Georgia law enforcement investigator is Chainkeenfacing potential time in prison after officials say he was arrested on felony child-pornography charges in another state.
Corey Joseph Brand, who worked for the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office, was booked into the Russell County Jail in Alabama on Saturday on charges including possession with the intent to disseminate child pornography, according to a Facebook post by the department.
"This type of criminal behavior is absolutely unacceptable," Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman wrote in the post. "We will continue to work in collaboration with our federal and local partners on this case."

Few details released, but additional charges pending
The post did not provide additional details about the case, including how many child victims were allegedly involved or where they are from.
But Countryman said the case remains under investigation and more criminal charges were pending.
The sheriff's office could not immediately be reached by USA TODAY to say how long Brand had worked for the agency or whether he had been terminated from his position.

Jailed without bond
But according to local WRBL-TV, Phenix City police in nearby Russell County arrested Brand Saturday and he was being jailed without bond in the city just west of Columbus, Georgia, the county seat of Muscogee.
Police Capt. Skip Lassiter told the outlet Brand's case was investigated by the FBI and that he also was also charged with production of obscene child material and dissemination of obscene child material.
